Janice Dodd Hyde, 63, a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, peacefully at home in Ooltewah after battling breast cancer. Janice loved spending time with her husband Curtis at their Florida condo. She also loved camping, going to NASCAR races, cooking, having family get togethers, gardening, and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Denise Dodd, and brother, Nathan Edward Dodd.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Curtis Hyde, Jr.;stepson, Trey Hyde; siblings, Debbie Dodd Lindsay, Pennie Dodd Brown, Aaron Randall Dodd, Tony Ray Dodd, and Joni Dodd Gregory, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. EST at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  There is no public funeral service planned at this time.
