Jean Woodward Eason, 86, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023.  She was a 1955 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School and was employed as a manager of Parkridge Hospital Credit Union for 44 years.  Jean was a "mom" to many of the neighborhood children.  Her home was a home and a temporary residence for those in need over the years.  Jean was a caring, loving and kind soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert Eason, Sr.; parents, Wilmer and Nina Woodward, and aunt, Velma Bryant (Mack).

Jean is survived by her son, Robert Eason, Jr. "Chip" (Terri); "daughters", Mellissa Holbrook (and her children, Isabelle and Liam Holbrook), and Terri Stansell; godson, Trey House (Angie); cousins, Carlene Garner (Gene), and Cathy Garner Keith (Danny); grandson, Jeremiah Pierce (and his children, Owen and Cambri Pierce), and former daughter-in-law, Gayle Moates.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Jean will be laid to rest beside her husband, Robert Sr., in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
