Jeanette “Honey” Brackett, 87, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Jeanette was a life-long resident of Chattanooga and a faithful member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved her dog, Puff, who was her special friend for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; parents, Albert and Lelah Landreth; grandson, Chad Brackett, as well as several siblings.

Jeanette is survived by her sons, Rockey Brackett (Jean), Bill Brackett and Russell Brackett (Jessieca); daughter, Susan Haws (Reed); grandchildren, Jeremy (Kelli), John (Lea), Brad, Melissa, Josh, Kristian and Ryein, as well as several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens West at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Kemp officiating.
