Jerry Smith Nelson, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and of the Christain faith.

Jerry was a hardworking man, devoted to his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Audrey Nelson; daughters, Sherry (Randy) Marshall and Lynn (Craig) Curtis; grandchildren, Taylor (Jake)

McNelley and Braden Marshall; great-grandchildren; Maebri McNelley and Maverick McNelley; two brothers; four sisters and several nieces and

nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.

A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Lee Cemetery where Mr. Nelson will be laid to rest.
