In loving memory of Jimmie Earl Pilgrim

Jimmie Earl Pilgrim, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1942, to the late Minnie “Ruth” and William “Will” Pilgrim. Jimmie leaves behind a lifetime of memories, and a family who will forever cherish his love and legacy.

Jimmie was a long-time electrician and a member of the I.B.E.W. Local Union 175. He was affiliated with the Tiftonia Church of Christ in Chattanooga, TN.

Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era and received an honorable discharge following his service. His dedication and service will always be remembered with pride and respect.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Kelley Pilgrim; parents, Minnie “Ruth” and William “Will” Pilgrim, and sisters, Linda Woolbright and Patricia Suit.

Jimmie is survived by his sister, Wanda Baldwin; children, Teresa Nichols (Bill) and James “Jim” Pilgrim (Cindy); stepchildren, Jennifer Castleberry (Donald), Daniel “Dan” Kelley (Beth), and Bay Kelly (Andrea); ten grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Jimmie will be remembered for his service to his country, his devotion to his family, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him. Although he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on through the generations of the family he leaves behind.

Forever loved, never forgotten.
