JL Wolfe


JL Wolfe, 91, passed away December 5, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Rossville, GA and a member of the Optimist Club.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie Ruth Colston and second wife, Pauline Hale; son, Johnny L. Wolfe; daughter, Brenda S. Shelton; brother, Russell Lee Wolfe; sisters, Shelby Jean Flicklin, Louise Whitaker and Beatrice Cantrell.

He is survived by his son, Leon (Carol) Wolfe; sister, Imogene Schrader of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Shawn (Caprice) O'Kelley, April Hornsby, Ryan (Mia) Wolfe, Jason Wolfe, Dayna Minderman, Heather Wolfe; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 11:00-2:00 pm with service immediately following in the Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Moore officiating.

JL will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with military honors.
