Joann Belvin

Joann Harrell Belvin, 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Mrs. Belvin had a special love for her children and participated in mission work for other children in Haiti and Venezuela. She was the secretary of the Retired Enlisted Association Chapter 103 and an avid supporter of the US Military. She traveled throughout the United States and Europe as an Air Force spouse. Mrs. Belvin was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter "Jack" and Jennie Cross Harrell.
Mrs. Belvin is survived by her husband, Raymond M Belvin; son, Raymond H (Donna) Belvin; daughters, Mary Jo (Don) Willis, Martha (Michael) Hawn and Shannon Cesarano; brothers, Billy, Bobby and Tommy Harrell; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 13, 2017 from 4-8 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Reverends Ray Walker and John Jones officiating. Mrs. Belvin will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
