John Kilgore, 47, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born September 5, 1978 to Robert and Connie Ramsey Kilgore in Chattanooga, Tennessee. John’s greatest pride came from taking care of and supporting his wife, children and grandchildren. He also loved his best buddy, Waldo the Dachshund.

John was a truck driver for over 20 years and finished his driving career with Trantham. He was also a former wrestler for Global Extreme Wrestling in Rossville, Georgia. (GXW)

In addition to his parents, Robert and Connie, he is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Michael (Sarah) Kilgore; daughter, Chasity (Zach) Whaley; grandchildren, Mason, EmmaLee, Andrew, Rylee, Katie, Aaron and ZJ; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Turner Funeral Home from 4p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 11: a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow with Pastor Don Oliver officiating.
