Johnnie Bell McKenzie "Johnnie B", 84, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024.  She loved her family and will be dearly missed by them.

Johnnie B was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bertha McNabb; siblings, Ella Mae Owens, Ed Stout, Mary Groce, Judy Richardson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy McKenzie; children, Perry Harris (Cathy Howard), Lesia McKenzie Thornton (Jeff) and Jay Harris (Leslie); siblings, Herman Stout "Tubby", Josephine Bledsoe, Larry McNabb, Wayne McNabb, Carol King, DL McNabb (Suzie); grandchildren, Daniel Harris (Tiffany), Tara Hamilton (Xan), Amanda Esque (Mikel) and Megan Thornton; great-grandchildren, Bryce Harris, Kenzie Rae Esque, Elizabeth "Izzy", Mikel "Tripp" III, Robert "Scotty" Esque; special friend, Mercy Painter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Chattanooga, TN.  A chapel service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Jeff Thornton, Bill Pearman and John Garringer officiating.

Johnnie B will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
