Joyce A. Wolfe, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  Joyce was a lifetime resident of Harrison, TN and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.  She was employed with Synthetic Industries, where she retired after 25 years.  Joyce fiercely loved her family, and her greatest pride was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister.  Joyce had a candid spirit and fiery disposition.  She leaves behind a legacy of love with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Bea Murphy; brother, Donnie Murphy, and her sister, Kathy Hill.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin Wolfe; daughter, Tracy Welch; siblings, Barbara Armstrong (Lake), Janice Pruitt (Bobby), and Jimmy Murphy (Glenda); grandchildren, Daniel Welch (Bridgett Gregory) and Ally Wynn (Chase); great-grandchildren, Mason Wolfe Wynn and Dallas Cooper Wynn, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.  Honorary Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, Mason and Cooper.

Joyce will be laid to rest in Old McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah, TN.
