Kathy Hughes, 54, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2025.   She was born on January 24, 1971 in Chattanooga, TN to Thomas and Irene Robinson.  Kathy was a graduate of Brainerd High School, class of 1989.  She never met a stranger and was a wonderful friend to all, especially to the four-legged kind.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Robinson and sister, Christie Haygood.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hogan of Harrison, TN; mother, Irene Robinson of Harrison, TN; sister, Sherri Wise of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Julia Strickland (Danny) of Pelzer, SC; brother-in-law, Johnny Hogan, Sr. (Janie) of Georgetown, TN, Steve and Debbie Laub of Harrison, TN; niece, Sierra, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. with Reverend Jeremiah Strickland Sr. officiating.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to McKamey Animal Center.
