Ken Parnell

Kenneth "Ken" Donald Parnell, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. A native of South Carolina, Ken had lived in the Chattanooga area for over 45 years. He was a member of Birchwood Church of God of Prophecy. Ken, along with his wife and family, was the owner and operator of various Ken's hamburgers for over 45 years. He was the former owner of Ken's Mechanic Shop.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and 2 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Parnell; daughters, Cinde (Donnie) Owens Smith, Tresea Owens and Sandy Barnes; grandchildren, Ashton Smith, Alyssa Cronon and several others; several nieces and nephews; sons, Donald (Helen) Parnell, Shane (Ann) Parnell and Jerry (Amanda) Parnell; daughter, Cathy Parnell Crisley.

Memorial service for Ken will be on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 4 pm at Birchwood Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Ken Nope officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Burial will be private. Share your memories at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
