Obituary

Kimberly S. Keenan of Harrison, TN passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 after fighting for 5 years with breast cancer, surrounded by loving family.

Kimberly was born June 7, 1968 in Randolph, VT to Bruce and Shyra (Rogers) Lang.  She grew up in Troy, NH, attending Monadnock Regional High School, graduating in 1986.

Kimberly married Timothy J. Keenan of Peterborough, NH on June 23, 2001 officiated by Reverend Robert K. Nace at the Unitarian Church in Peterborough, NH.

Kimberly loved sewing, quilting, and making things out of stained glass.  Holidays with her parents and children were her favorite times.  Growing up, she loved being on the dairy farm with her grandparents, and her aunt and uncle in Tunbridge, VT.  She enjoyed all the camping trips with her parents, various aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.  Kimberly also treasured all the summers spent at Silver Lake in Harrisville, NH, and the cruises she went on with her husband, and then with her children and grandchildren.

Her most loved times was spent with her husband, her children, and grandchildren.

Kimberly is survived by her husband of 23 years, Timothy Keenan of TN; children, Shaunna (Joe) Bisson of NH, Valarie (Robert) Kemp of NH, Shyra (Kyle) Buis of NE and Edward Green of TN; grandchildren, Jersey, Riley, John, Zayl and Izak, all of NH; mother, Shyra Lang of TN; sister, Kerri (Robert) Bryand of NH; beloved furbabies, Zorro and Piper, as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is predeceased by her father, Bruce Lang.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
