Lane Michelle Baskette, 54, born on September 14, 1967, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on Monday, February 14, 2022.  She will always be God's special angel.

Lane was proceeded in death by her fathers, George S. Hullander and Albert Ray Gilliam; grandmother, Marita Turner, and her nephew, Michael Christopher West.

She is survived by her loving mother, Linda L. Gilliam; sisters, Tammy (James) Miller, Carla (Rodney) Brock, Vickie (Tim) Howard, and Carolyn (Randy) Poston; brother, Michael Martin; nine nieces and nephews, and fifteen great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 11 – 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Tony Sutton officiating.

Lane will be laid to rest in Plowman Cemetery in Apison.
