Lauren Elizabeth Bonnema, 25, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church. Lauren was serving in the Army Reserves and was an avid music and animal lover.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparent, Oscar Gann.

Lauren is survived by her father, Bryan (Lily) Bonnema of Ooltewah and mother, Kristen (David) Hill also of Ooltewah; daughter, Ashlyn Bonnema; brother, Michael Bonnema; grandparents, Gene (Sherry) Bonnema, Deanne Jones and Deborah Gann; great-grandparent, Ann Cornelius; step grand-mother Robbie Hill; aunts and uncles, Kari (Bruce) Jones and Bryan (Jonna) Gann; step-siblings, Aaron, Garrett, Byron, and Alaina Hill as well as several extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Dr. Richard Mason officiating. Calling hours an hour prior to the service.  Lauren will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
