Lee Dean
Lee Dean, 73, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015. Lee grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he graduated from Central High School. In 1960, he went to Fort Myers with his wife Pat, son Gary, his dad, Raymond, his mother, Mildred, and brothers, Melvin and Ralph.
Lee worked beside his dad in the business R M Dean Concrete until his father's passing. In 1977 he and Pat started Lee Dean and Son's where his sons Gary and Chris worked beside him. He loved getting up, putting on his white tee shirt and khaki shorts, getting in his pickup and getting to his shop. Besides his family, work was his priority. He was not a sit in the shop owner. He was always on the job. With Pat, Scarlett, and his junior secretary Katie taking care of the other side of the business he could devote his time doing what he loved. Sunday was always the Lord's day of rest when he enjoyed gravy, biscuits, and NASCAR.
HE HAS LEFT A FOOTPRINT ON ALL WHO KNEW HIM!!
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pat; sons, Gary (Lynette) and Chris (Missy); grandson, Garrett; granddaughter, Jenna; great grandson, Weston; his beloved Uncle Tater; brother in law, Jerry Johnson; nieces, Lori, Emaleigh, Rebecca, Kalli, and Aria; many cousins, friends, and his baby Sweetie.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Old McDonald Cemetery with Pastor James Hutchings officiating. Interment will follow.
