LeRoyce "Herbie" Hardin, Jr., 57, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and attended Central High School.  Herbie was a member of Lakeway Baptist Church in Harrison.  He was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan and loved playing cornhole with his brother, Michael.  Herbie enjoyed crappie fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoyce and Judith Hardin.

Herbie is survived by his wife, Kimberley Hardin; son, Brady Daniel; daughters, Kara Hardin and Kristen Locey (Zarek); brother, Michael Hardin (Norma); sisters, Dora Mae Weaver (Dan), Rhonda Kay Moseley and Wendy Taylor (Courtney); grandchildren; Zander, Zayden and Kaiyah; father-in-law, Bobby Nicholson, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Steve Moore officiating.

Herbie will be laid to rest in New McDonald Cemetery.
