Leslie "Clyde" Wortman, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  The Lord called another angel home.  Clyde was a Christian, and a member of Tyner Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, working on cars, music of all sorts, and he loved life and his family.  Clyde also enjoyed cooking shows, the outdoors and camping, peaceful quiet times, and coffee.  Clyde drove a Chevy, but he loved a Ford.  He was a hard worker and was very meticulous in everything he did.  Many people came to him when they needed help with anything, and many looked up to him.  Clyde was an expert in the HVAC community for 45 years, the all around "go-to" guy for whatever.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Clyde Wortman, Sr. and Helen Louise Scott-Wortman; daughter, Jessica Lea Wortman; grandson, Robbie "Bubba" Robinson; great-grandson, Tanner Lucas Robinson; brother, Benny Rae Wortman, and sisters, Shelia Wortman-Harvey and Wendie Wortman-Shields.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Stacy Wortman; grandson, Hayden Cranfield; granddaughter, Brooke Robinson; two great-grandsons, Peyton Robinson and Liam Walker, as well as many friends he called family.

The family will announce a visitation and a service at a later date.
