Lisa Lowe
Akins
Jul 25, 1966 — Jan 30, 2024
Lisa Lowe Akins, 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 25, 1966 to David and Alice Lowe.
Lisa had a passion for gardening, where she spent many hours cultivating her own little piece of paradise. As a florist with Bi-Lo, she had the opportunity to bring joy to others through her creative arrangements. Her talent was evident in every bouquet she crafted, brightening the lives of all who received them. Beyond her green thumb, Lisa had a deep appreciation for music. Whether it was soothing melodies or the sounds of her favorite artists, her love for music knew no bounds. It was through music that she found solace and expressed her emotions.
Lisa found great joy in observing the world around her, particularly the beauty and grace of birds. Bird watching and bird feeding allowed her to connect with nature and find peace in its simplicity. She loved their vibrant colors, delicate feathers, and beautiful songs. Her backyard was a sanctuary for birds, a testament to her love and care for them.
But above all else, Lisa cherished her role as a NANA to her grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love created a safe haven, a place where they felt truly seen and cherished. Lisa showered them with affection, teaching them important life lessons through gentle guidance and warm hugs.
She also possessed a special knack for turning any space into a winter wonderland during the holiday season. Her talent for decorating for Christmas would transform her home into a magical haven that brought joy to all who stepped through her door. From the twinkling lights to the meticulously arranged ornaments, her festive touch created many beautiful memories for her family and friends.
Lisa touched the lives of many, leaving an everlasting impact through her kindness, generosity, and love. Her presence will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Lowe.
