Lori Ann Pickett, 55, passed away on September 10, 2018. Sometimes, having a large close knit family is like a curse because the entire family knows all of your problems, they always know where you are and they know every time you fall short of your potential. However, other times having a large close knit family is a blessing for all of the same reasons.

Lori Ann was one of the many of us who grew up in such a family. We all have that one uplifting, jovial spirit who knows exactly how to put a smile on your face. In our family, she was that one.  Lori never judged and she was always laughing and eager to help in times of trouble.  She had a nickname for the entire cast of characters in the Harrison area and they were all hilariously fitting. Lori was a babysitter to a lot of us.  She was a cousin, a mother, a grandmother, daughter, and a dear friend. Our large close knit family got so much smaller with her loss. We will all miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey "Buddy" Green.

Lori is survived by mother, Bonnie Forgey Green; daughters, Jillian Lively and Holly (Michael) Gill; grandchildren, Lilli Lively, Mikayla Gill, and Coltyn Gill; several cousins.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.   The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Steven Granger, Jack Rinks, and Paul Forgey officiating. Lori will be laid to rest New McDonald Cemetery.
