Luther "Teddy" Jernigan, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  Teddy was born to Charles Vieva Jernigan in Chattanooga, Tenn in January of 1955.  He grew up with three older brothers and a younger sister.  Teddy had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, classic cars, music, and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vieva Jernigan, and his brother, David Jernigan.

Teddy is survived by his two sons, Daniel (Kelly) Jernigan and Adam (Melissa) Jernigan; six grandchildren, Brady Jernigan, Elijah Jernigan, Beau Jernigan, Asher Jernigan, Isabella Jernigan, and Chloe Jernigan; sister, Sarah (Glenn) Holland, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.

A graveside service will be held the following day, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at noon at Forest Hills Cemetery in St. Elmo with Pastor Adam Jernigan officiating.
