Lynda "Lulu" Masengale, 73, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Lulu had a big heart and was always willing to help others in need.  Her thoughtfulness and gentle spirit made her a friend to many, and she brought light and laughter into every room she entered.  She had a simple love for life's comforts—especially chicken and steak biscuits from Bojangles.

Her family and friends will always remember her for her warmth, selflessness, and joy that she brought into their lives.  Though she is gone too soon, the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

We love you, Lulu!

She is survived by her sisters, Bobbie Ellis, Beverly Massey and Sylvia McDaniel.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Martha Masengale officiating.

Lynda will be laid to rest in Maddux Cemetery.
