Margaret "Lorraine" Fisher Duran, 81, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was raised in Cleveland, TN before coming to Chattanooga, eventually moving to Ringgold, GA.  Lorraine was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Calvary Life Fellowship.  She was a dedicated church member, also singing in the choir.  Lorraine enjoyed reading her Bible and singing hymns.  She loved to shop, especially at yard sales, thrift stores and flea markets.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and fellow church members.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Zane Duran; son, Jeffrey Duran, parents, Leonard and Gussie Fisher; brothers, Lloyd Fisher and Ernest Fisher, and sisters, Irene Fisher and Louise Stokes Fisher.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Harris; grandchildren, Courtney McEvoy (Daniel) and Hunter Harris (Haley); great-grandchild, Lyla Harris, as well as son-in-law, Todd Harris.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4 - 8 p.m. as well as on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Keith McLeod officiating.

Lorraine will be laid to rest beside her husband, Zane, and her son Jeffrey, in Grasshopper Cemetery.
