Marie Elaine Austin, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022.  Marie was a resident of Chattanooga for the last 24 years.  She loved to fish, play online video games, go on casino trips, and take motorcycle rides with her husband, Glenn.  Marie was known for being a trivia wiz.  She loved to spend time with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Marie will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Vale; brothers, Wayne Vale and Buddy Vale, and sister, Dorothy Jane Carollo.

Marie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Glenn Austin; daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Hatfield, and Christina Austin; grandchildren, Jacob, Cameran, Amber, Nicole, and Samantha; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Vale of Whiting, IN, and sisters, Anita Farley of Bickenill, IN, and Janice Vale, who Marie lovingly cared for most of her life.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from noon – 4 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.

Burial will be private.
