Marion "Buddy" Perry, 85, passed away at his home on Friday, August 23, 2024.  He was a 1957 graduate of Tyner High School and a lifelong iron worker.  Buddy loved animals, especially horses, even competing in several horse shows throughout the years.  He was a member of the Harrison Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.  Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, and playing with his furry four-legged friend, Rex.  He was such a thoughtful person, never forgetting a birthday.  Buddy was well loved and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra "Cookie" Perry, and his parents, Junior and Beryl Perry.

Buddy is survived by his children, Donnie Perry (Paige), Paul Perry (Margaret), and Amy Jenkins (Michael); siblings, Brenda Leamon (Keith), Trudy Perry, and Randy Perry (Donna); grandchildren, Josh Jenkins (Laura), Lauren Gossett (Matt), Josh Perry, Jeff Perry (Morgan), Kenzie Perry, Haley Jenkins, Nate Perry and Will Perry, as well as great-grandchildren, Macie Bates, Millie Gossett, Madeline Perry, and Spencer Perry.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  There will also be a visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rick Stansberry officiating.

Buddy will be laid to rest beside his wife, Sandra, in Old McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Buddy's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 110 Somerville Ave, Suite 227, Chattanooga, TN 37405
