Martha Ann Hillis, 78, of Rossville, GA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  She was a member of Greenslake Rd Church of Christ in East Ridge.  Martha had an exceptional love for raising and caring for animals, with a special interest in dogs.  Her family mourns the loss of such a beautiful soul.  Martha's warmth and compassion was steadfastly maintained in light of any adversities she confronted throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hillis; children, Roy Hillis and Susan McCarroll, and parents, Sydney and Lillie Bolt.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Janette Stoops; brother, Paul Bolt, and grandsons, Kenneth McGehee, Michael Hillis (Ashley), Christopher McCarroll, and Daniel Stoops.

The family would also like to give thanks to Liz and Crystal from Hearth Hospice for their exceptional care.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Chaplain Bobby Fleck officiating.
