Martin "Marty" Brown, 81, passed away on Monday July 9, 2018. He was a resident of Chattanooga for 47 years, previously residing in Miami, FL. Marty was a former Lieutenant with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, a 1975 FBI Academy graduate and an avid motorcycle rider. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Sophie Brown; wife, Lindsay Brown; younger brother, Edward Brown. He is survived by his children, Andy (Sonia) Brown, Sheila (Jason) Clark, and Troy (Kristie) Brown; brother, Robert (Debbie) Brown; sister-in-law, Joan Brown; grandchildren, Justin, Miranda, Tyler, TJ, Austin, Andrew II, Caitlyn, Christopher, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Braedyn, Lindsay, Lilyana, and great-grandchild #4 arriving in November.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
