Mary Helen Lewis Howard, 81, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.  She was the daughter of Ora Pauline Lewis and Richard Lee Lewis.   Mary was employed as a cook at Countryside Cafe for 16 years.  She had a fighting spirit and loved her son Jason deeply.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Glen Howard who passed in 1991; son, Jackie Lee Lewis, and brothers, James and Chester Lewis.

She is survived by her son, Jason Paul Howard of Harrison; sisters, Glenna Hensley of Ooltewah and Sadaria Kim Ellison of Cherokee, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Maddox Cemetery in Harrison.
