Michael S. Austin, 52, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024.  He was employed in construction as a heavy machine operator.  Michael enjoyed building model cars, fishing and motorcycles.  He was a beloved family man who adored his grandbabies, and he will be deeply missed.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Jo Grant.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years. Bobbie Austin; daughters, Tonya Brooks (Jeremy), Courtney Austin and Melissa Driggers (Detrick Pena); brother, Lebron Austin (Kim), and grandchildren, Kayliee Brooks, Kensley Austin, Kayden Brooks and Luna Pena.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Chattanooga, TN.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Harrison Cemetery with Pastor Caleb Bolton officiating.
