Michael Sevits
Morgan
Sep 2, 1960 — Jan 26, 2023
Michael Sevits Morgan, 62, long-time resident of Ringgold, GA, passed away on January 26, 2023.
Michael was born in Wartburg, TN to Oather Alex Morgan and Flora Jean Morgan. Michael had a lifelong bonus dad, Jimmy James Walker, who raised him like his own after his father passed away when he was still a young toddler. He was a brother to seven siblings; Freddie Morgan, Faye (J.R.) Parks, Charlie (Karen) Morgan, Donnie (Abby) Morgan, Eddie Morgan, Oather Alex Morgan, Jr. and Missy (Ashley) Carlton.
Michael loved riding motorcycles, especially for charities where he loved giving back to those in need. He loved fishing and tinkering with small engines, cars, and any sort of junk that he could rig a motor up to, to make it run. Michael had a sense of humor a million miles long and loved making people laugh but he especially loved using the word "gooder" and his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna Kay a.k.a Midget, a special mother-in-law who he called mom, Martha Giles; five children; Beth (Curtis) Bradford, Kelley Eaves (Phil Burke), Michael Morgan Jr., Nikki (Tony) Bandy, and Codi (Jonatan) Jeronimo; fourteen grandchildren; Bradley Sloop, Taylor Gardenhire, Ian Bradford, Kalista Eaves, Amaira Bradley, Gavin Bradford, Kaidy Eaves, Lucan Henson, Xander Morgan, Jaxson Bandy, Madison Bandy, Colton Jeronimo, Waylon Bandy and Cristian Jeronimo. He also had five great-grandchildren; Myles, Amari, Elliott, Walker and Arya as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale, TN at a later date.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the hospice doctors and nurses who cared for our dad, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Please share your memories and express condolences to the family on their guestbook.
