Michael Roberts

Michael Philip Roberts, 65, of Harrison and formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in a Nashville hospital.  He was a retired truck driver and member of the NRA. Michael was a US Marine veteran, having served 2 tours in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean; mother Bettye Baker and father, J. P. Roberts.

He is survived by his brothers, James (Martha) and Steven Roberts, both of Harrison; step brothers, Raymond and Calvin Baker, of Houston, Texas; step sisters, Linda and Joyce Baker, Lois Halwell and Mary Jane Best, all of Houston, Texas; 7 nieces and 1 nephew.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 1-4 pm in the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Norma in a private service in National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
