Minnie Hickman passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, and spent many years working at Buster Brown in sales. Mrs. Hickman was a song writer and loved her family, music, Elvis and singing.

Minnie is survived by her husband, Luther Hickman, Jr.; sons, James (Barbara), John (Tina) Hickman; grandchildren, Tracie (Mark) Cranford, Shelley Swinney, James (Jennifer) Hickman, Jr., Misty (Richard) Bowles. several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin and Maude Howell Potter; 5 brothers, 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 10:00 am until the hour of service at noon in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Don Kelley officiating. Following the service, Minnie will be laid to rest in National Cemetery.
