Ollie P. Pierce, 85, passed away at her home on August 21, 2019.  Ms. Pierce lived in this area for 69 years.  Ollie was a long-time member of Ekklessia Baptist Tabernacle, present day Savannah Bay Baptist.  She worked in the medical field for over 20 years.

Ms. Pierce is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Pierce; son, Robert L. Pierce; grandson, David Michael Pierce.

She is survived by her sister, Gladys Leab, Lake City, TN; sons, Gary (Joy) Pierce, Harrison, TN; Randy (Debbie) Pierce, Otto, NC; Dana Pierce, Warren, NJ.; daughters, Rhonda Pierce, Ooltewah, TN, Gwen (Mitchell) Swafford, Ooltewah, TN.; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  at Turner Funeral Home, located at Webb Road and Hwy 58. The service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 with Greg Bolton officiating.  Ms. Pierce will be laid to rest with her husband in National Cemetery.
