Oscar Gann

Oscar Curtis Gann, 68 years old of Ooltewah, Tennessee, left this earthly home for his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27, 2016. Oscar was an employee of Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for 30 years before retirement in 2010. He was a member of IBEW Union 175 of Chattanooga, Tennessee and 1323 of Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a faithful member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Gann and mother, Eva Ruth Russell Gann, as well as his sister, Lela Ruth Gann, all of Dandridge, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deborah Cornelius Gann; children, Bryan Gann and Kristen Gann Hill; grandchildren, Lauren and Michael Bonnema, all of Chattanooga; sister, Patsy Gann; niece, Dr. Ashley Gann, of Dandridge, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 4-8 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Richard Mason officiating. He will be laid to rest in National Cemetery with Military Honors.
