It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that our mother, Pamela "Darlene" Weaver, left her body here on the earth and her soul entered through the gates of heaven, on Wednesday April 29, 2026.  She was 69 years old, born and raised in Chattanooga, Tn.  When she was a teenager she won several badminton tournaments.  She then went on to graduate from Kirkman Technical High School in 1973.  Darlene moved away for a short time to travel with her former husband, who was in the Air Force, eventually finding her way back to Chattanooga.

She was a mother to all, selfless in nature, and touched the lives of all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her life and their memories, her son, Michael "Eric" Weaver; daughter, Shylah (Jonathan) Henry; two grandsons who she adored, Blaine and Ethan Henry; several beloved nieces and nephews; brothers, Michael Duke and Larry (Nina) Rains, and sisters, Sandra Lewis and Elaine (Rickey) McNeese.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Jewell Duke; father, George Rains; stepfather, Jimmy Duke; sisters, Brenda Daily and Diane Rains, and brother, John Rains.

We would love for you to join us in celebrating and cherishing her on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A chapel service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Trey Holland officiating.

Darlene will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
