Patricia Haviland

Patricia "Patty" Jane Preston Haviland, 80, went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2017. She was born on May 16, 1937, to Raymond and Maude "Zimmie" Preston in Riverside, California, and was a member of San Diego First Church of the Nazarene.

She married Vernon Haviland in 1956, and was a homemaker and mother. In 1998, Patty and Vern moved from San Diego, California, to Harrison, Tennessee, to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur Preston, Raymond Lee Preston, and a sister, Marie Kelley.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon W. Haviland, daughters LaVonne (Robert) Dasher and Cheryl (Tom) Hutto; brother Leonard (Linda) Preston; grandchildren Sara (Jason) Snyder, Adam (Lindsay) Simmons, Nathan Simmons, Andrew Richards, Robert Richards and Thomas Hutto IV; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, June 19th, 2017.
