Patricia "Pat" Joan Mallett Turner, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025.  Pat was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church.  She was a 1964 graduate of Central High School.  In 2007, Pat retired from BCBS after 25 years.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.  Pat was lovingly known as "Pata" by her granddaughters, Karley and Lila.  She called her granddaughters the light of her life, and she will be deeply missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Mallett, and her brothers, Bobby Mallett and Happy Mallett.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Steve Turner; sons, Steve Turner, Jr. and Daniel Wesley Turner; brother, Johnny Mallett (Patty) and granddaughters, Karley Rose Turner and Lila Turner, as well as several close friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Doug Plumlee officiating.
