Peggy J. Phillips, 78, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord and Savior on March 23, 2020.  A life-long resident of Chattanooga, Peggy was born to Claude and Elizabeth Byous in 1942.  She was retired from the medical field and she loved books, gospel music and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Elizabeth Byous; brother, Claude Byous, Jr.; infant daughter, Darlene, and special ex in-laws, James and Frances Phillips.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Jim (Anne Marie) Phillips; grandson, Andrew Phillips, as well as many other family and friends.  The family would like to say a special thank you to her dear cousins, Jean, Janet and Zach for the exceptional care that they gave Peggy.
