Richard Abbott
Richard Wesley Abbott, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Church of God faith. Richard enjoyed gardening, flowers and outdoor activities. He had a love for music and played the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Essie Smith Abbott; sister, Shirley Potts.
Richard is survived by his sisters, Jean (Curtis) Hyde and Toney (JD) Denton; 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Graveside service will be on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Pastor Benny Mills officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
