Ricky Lee Baggett, 69, of Harrison, TN peacefully passed away in his home on September 15, 2025. He was born on September 1,1956 in Ooltewah, TN as the son of Richard Baggett and Betty Stiner Baggett.

Ricky attended Ooltewah High School, playing football and running track. He earned his GED before beginning his career in construction as a roofer. He married Carolyn (Hope) Baggett on September 14, 1973. Later in his life, he worked as a supervisor for Ooltewah Specialty/Georgia Pacific. Horseback riding, fishing, camping, watching old re-runs and westerns were ways in which he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Baggett and Betty Stiner Baggett; stepfather, Kenneth Wolfe; and sister, Jo Ann Werner.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Hope) Baggett; sons, Ricky L. Baggett (Stephanie) and Randy L Baggett (Kari); grandchildren, Victoria Collake (Matt), Chance Baggett, Katie Baggett, and Meagan Baggett; siblings, Diane Dill (Mike) and Gregory Baggett (Tina); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. There will be an additional visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Turner Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
