Robert "Robby" Bates, 50, passed away on August 16, 2020.  He was a #22 Joey Logano Nascar fanatic, an avid fisherman, and loved to visit Gatlinburg.  Robby never met a stranger and considered everyone a friend.  He loved spending time with family and will be dearly missed.

Robby is survived by his son, Kody Bates; father, Robert (Martha) Bates; ex-wife, Stephanie Bates; brother, Tommy (Donna) Bates; sister, Connie (Mike) Pearson, and best friend, Paul Cantrell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  There will also be a visitation held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor David Ferguson officiating.

Robby will be laid to rest in Williamson Cemetery in Harrison.
