Robert Edward "Bob" Erwin, 80, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017. Bob was a retired member of Teamsters Local 515. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending time with his family and was a member of Big Springs Church of Christ. He loved working with The Little Angel Birth Defect Golf Tournament.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Willie Friddle Erwin, brother; Jim Erwin and sister-in-law Jo Erwin, brother, Donald Erwin.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Bernice Erwin; sons, Bobby (Debra) Erwin and Gary Erwin; daughter, Libby Erwin; sister, Charlotte (Sam) Mullinex; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be on Sunday May 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Beta Cemetery in Meigs County with Minister Max Redmon officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. You may share your memories at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com
