Robert Grider

Robert Leonard Grider, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, a US Air Force veteran and a member of East Ridge Church of Christ. He retired after 35 years as a brick mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alice Bowman Grider; brother, Richard Grider.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Grider; sons, Charles (Elizabeth) Bowden, Eddy (Stephanie) Grider and John (Tina) Grider; daughters, Kelly Gray and Elisha Grider; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a nephew and several nieces.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home and on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from noon until 1 pm at East Ridge Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1 with pastors Charles Cochran and David East officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
