Ronald K. "Hawk" Hawkesworth, 75, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023.  Ron was a Master in the Gas, Electrical, HVAC and Mechanical professions.  He was a preacher of the Gospel and had a deep love for teaching the Bible.  He also enjoyed helping others learn the trades he had mastered.  Ron had an eye and a passion for the magic of photography.

Even with his health challenges, he was always positive and had a smile to share with others.

Ron is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joy Hawkesworth; children, Kris Baker (Angie) of Maryland, Rachael Hawkesworth of Florida, Josh Hawkesworth (Angie) of Georgia, David Hawkesworth (Ashley) of Colorado, Jessica Mahan (Randy) of Tennessee and Scott Phillips (Swan) of Oklahoma; brother, Ken Hawkesworth (Debra); nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with David Ferguson officiating.
