Ronnie George Henson, 71, passed away on February 4, 2020.  Ronnie was born in Copperhill, TN, but called Chattanooga, TN his home.  He was a member of the Church of Christ and loved music, golf, the TN Volunteers and deep sea fishing.  Above all, however, he loved his family.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mabel Henson; son, Daniel Matthew Henson; sisters, Annie Hyde and Margie Smith and brother, Robert (Sandy) Henson.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Anne Bowers Henson; sons, Ronnie Allen Henson, Scott (Lynn) Henson and Joseph Henson; stepsons, Mark (Barbara) Pittman and Terry Pitman; stepdaughters, Angela (Steve) Hall and Tonia (Matt) Dunn; daughter-in-law, April Carpenter Henson; sisters, Betty (Jim) Nicholson, Mary (Don) Young, Vicki (Dennis) Dent, Sherri (Dan) Jeffries and Nina (Larry) Raines; grandchildren, Sean and Skylar Henson; twenty one step-grandchildren; 10 step great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 11 - 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58 . A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with David Mathis officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mark and Terry Pittman, Andy Defur, Brian Irwin, Rodney Hargraves, Aaron Hunt, Sam Knox, Junior and Jerry Bowers.

The family will announce the scattering of Ronnie's cremains at a later date.
