Ruth Sartin
Ruth Sartin, 85, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. She was a native of Marietta, Georgia and had lived in Chattanooga for over 50 years. Mrs. Sartin was a retired unit manager at Silverdale Correctional Facility.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Sartin; son, James Bradley Morris; parents, Lawrence and Ethel Johnson Wilson.
Mrs. Sartin is survived by her sons, Larry Sartin of Chattanooga and Mike Sartin of Ooltewah; grandchildren, Tracy Forrester, Obbie Morris Jr., Brian, Melissa and Amber; great grandchildren, Brittney and Jessica Forrester and Jeffrey and Bella; great great grandchildren, Levi, Aiden and Bowen.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5-8 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Sartin will be laid to rest beside her husband Alvin, in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
