Sarah Louise "Lou" Roach, 77, was granted her angel wings to heaven Saturday, September 16, 2017.
Lou attended Hadley School for the Blind in Morristown, Tennessee and the Blind School in Little Rock Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Bessie Roberts Braden and sister, Lois Ann Braden.
Mrs. Roach is survived by sisters, Etta Mae McBee, Clara (Kenneth) Cowan, Betty (Ray) Brown, Judy Biggs and Brenda (William R.) Neighbors; Lou's very special niece Stacey Nunley, who spent much of her time growing up with Lou and many hours caring for Lou during her declining health; special caregiver Annie, who was always there to help; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Arkridge Home Care, and Hospice of Chattanooga. A very special thanks to Anna, Debbie, Sandra, Cheryl, Tracy, Bobbie and Felicia, at her home at Life Care of Red Bank for their care, love and special touch.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from noon until 2 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Stephen Kellogg officiating. Sarah will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
