Saundra LaVerne Grant Hall, 75, passed away peacefully at home in Oak Ridge, TN on March 22, 2022.  She was born in Chattanooga, TN on January 7, 1947 to Wesley Alfred Jones and Leona Elsea Grant.  Saundra loved God, her family and friends, reading, cooking, fishing, and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Leona; stepfather, Charles M. Grant; son, Mark Anthony Ellis; sisters, Darlene Reed and Elsie Grant; son-in-law, John Rains; grandchildren, Jessica Dickinson, Cheyenne Payne, and Benjamin Cross, as well as the fathers of her children, Larry Hall and Jerry Payne.

Saundra is survived by her children and their spouses, Melissa (Kevin) Powell of Harriman, TN; Pam (Nathan) Riddle of Graysville, TN, Candy Rains and Mary Ellen Hall both of Harrison, TN; Moses (Sarah) Payne of Oak Ridge, TN, and Amanda (Juan) Pardo of Dayton, TN; brothers and sisters, Michael Grant, Brenda Wooten, Lake (Judy) Jones, William (Lucy) Jones, Linda Daniels, and Rita Thomas; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and special family friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 1 - 3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58.  A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Wesley Maulden officiating.

Burial will be private.
