Scott "Scooter" Kennedy


Scott "Scooter" Kennedy, 55, of Chattanooga, left us to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Scott worked with the family business, Cedar Creek Park. Scott loved his family and many friends and delighted in making them laugh. He enjoyed the lake, fishing, boating and even enjoyed working at the lake family properties.
He was preceded in death by his father, M. Scott Kennedy.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristy Leigh Kennedy; sisters, Kelle Kennedy and Kerre Kennedy (William) Resides; mother, Delores Kelley Kennedy; uncle, Charles "Whit" Kelley; cousins, Craig and Todd Swords; grandchildren, McKayla, McKynli and Jackson Bearden; the two loves of Scott's life, loving companion of 17 years Robin Campbell and her children Jimmy, Robert and Melonie Rogers and also his special little friend seven year old Blake Rogers; Previous spouse, Tina Sampson and her son Levi Newby.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Courtney Krueger officiating.
