Scott Tucker
Scott Tucker passed away on October 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Derby, Kansas on January 18, 1964 to James W. and Carolyn J. Tucker. Growing up in the restaurant industry, Scott served as executive chef with J. Alexander's Restaurant for almost 25 years. Scott was known for being a mentor, his willingness to share his knowledge and especially for his sense of humor, always playing pranks and jokes on family and friends.
Scott is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Anne Garrison Tucker; his children, Jacob Cody Tucker, Michael Conner Tucker (Tianna Roberts, Demi Noelle Tucker), Ronald Anthony Childress (Stacie, Ayden), David Andrew Childress (David, Jacob) and Jennifer Matheson; father James Walter Tucker; brother, James Cory (Lissa Bright, Leah Tucker and Aidan Tucker). He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn June Tucker.
Scott, you were an amazing and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. You will be sorely missed, but your legacy will always live on through your children who inherited your sense of humor and love of life. Your grandsons will always remember you for introducing them to the restaurant world, the life lessons you taught them and enjoying time watching them play soccer and baseball. And Demi, your little ray of sunshine, will always remember dancing and playing games with her very special Pee-Paw.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Harrison Ruritan Club, 5708 Tyner Lane, Harrison, TN 37341.
